Middle School Grades

The middle school at Trinity Academy encompasses 5th through 8th grades at the Father Walter J. Ciszek Education Center.

Core subjects of religion, reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies are taught. The middle school grades serve as a foundation for high school level learning and are held on the upper level of the building where classroom switching is used to prepare students for the high school experience. This technique also takes advantage of the individual strengths of our teaching faculty.

Students are encouraged to work as individuals as well as teams using research, writing, and various presentation methods as tools to develop their minds and confidence.

To complement the academic instruction, art, music, physical education, library, technology, and Religious Enrichment are taught by specialized teachers and volunteers.

There are also extra-curricular opportunities such as student government, student ambassadors, competitive academic events, community service events, CYO sports, and social events to develop leadership, character, and social skills.

The children serve as role models and are often called upon to engage and encourage the younger students.

Some highlights of the school year include the Christmas Pageant, Catholic Schools Week, Living Stations, Race for Education, May Procession, and various field trips and assemblies.
